NC County Officials Quiet About Fire Service Consolidation Study

Officials in Guilford County, North Carolina will not comment about a study concerning the county’s fire services which cost $100,000 of taxpayer money, according to a report from WFMY News 2.

The report indicated that Guilford County Commissioners ordered a study, but when asked, the County Manager and the county’s Deputy Director of Emergency Services would not comment or give additional information. County Commissioner Skip Alston said he doesn’t know what’s in the report and he won’t find out until later this week.
