Mt. Penn Fire Company (PA) Gets Grant for Fire Equipment and Repairs

Mt. Penn Fire Company has received a $60,000 state grant by the Department of Community and Economic Development, reports Berks Weekly.

The grant will fund improvements for the fire department, fire equipment and repair for a fire truck.

Mt. Penn Fire Chief Timothy Waldman said that 2020 has been particularly challenging and that the funds will be put to good use.
