Methuen (MA) Fire Apparatus Damaged

The door of one of city’s fire engines was damaged and removed after an accident at Burger King, reports The Eagle-Tribune.

The fire chief said that the driver took the turn too tight, hitting the post and damaged a rear compartment door and scraped the side of the engine.

The truck is 15 years old and the damage is being assessed. Due to the truck’s age, the rear cabinet door will have to be custom-made.
