Mercer Island Seeks Advocates for Fire Station and Truck Bond

The Mercer Island City Council is seeking volunteers to advocate for and against plans to rebuild the Mercer Island Fire Station 92 and buy a new fire truck.

The city council will meet for a second reading. The committee is required to submit the statement by August 15, 2012 to King County Elections. King County Elections will then provide the committees with the opposing statements in order to write and submit a rebuttal statement by August 17, 2012. The word limit on the Pro and Con Statements is 200 words. The word limit on the Rebuttal Statements is 75 words.
