Medical Helicopter Called After Jacksonville Township (OH) Fire Apparatus Flips

A Jackson Township fire truck flipped on a narrow country road Monday morning, injuring the driver.

Ohio State Highway Police were called after the truck rolled over at least once when the driver tried to avoid an on-coming car.

According to authorities on the scene, the driver of the fire truck was following a detour on the road with no shoulders because State Route 50 is closed for repair.

The severity of injuries to the driver was non-life threatening, though a University of Cincinnati Medical Center helicopter was called to the incident.
