Mansfield (OH) Adds Aerial Fire Apparatus to Fleet

The new $890,000 Pierce aerial truck has arrived at the Mansfield Fire Department and firefighter training is underway, reports Mansfield News Journal.

The truck will update the approximately 25-year-old, 75-foot ladder truck which will remain part of the department’s fleet.

The new aerial truck has a ladder that stretches 107 feet from the ground up, 32 feet longer than the current aerial truck ladder. The 25-year-old truck has a bucket while the new one has a straight, stick ladder.
