Magnolia (TX) Fire Apparatus Involved in Crash, Five Taken to Hospital

PRESS RELEASE

At approximately 2:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, Magnolia Fire Department, Engine 187 was returning to the station after an incident response. Engine 187 was traveling north on FM 1774 crossing the intersection of FM 149 in Pinehurst, Texas, and was involved in an accident with a small SUV.

Magnolia Engine 187 had four firefighters on board who were all transported to HCA Hospital in Tomball, in stable condition. The single occupant of the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital in stable condition.

9 p.m. update: Three firefighters have been released from the hospital. One firefighter will remain hospitalized overnight.

The accident is being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
