A Macon-Bibb County fire truck was significantly damaged in an engine fire, reports 13 WMAZ.
The crew was returning from a fire call on the interstate. By the time the truck pulled over, the engine was engulfed in fire.
No firefighters were hurt.

All five trucks sustained moderate damage and have since been relocated to neighboring departments and volunteer’s homes to await repairs.
