Loose Wheel on Maryland Fire Apparatus Damages Cars

A large fire truck wheel came loose on Cedar Lane on Wednesday, damaging at least three parked cars.

The incident happened around 12:15 p.m., when a fire truck heading east on Cedar Lane near NIH lost a front wheel. The wheel hit and damaged at least three cars parked along the south curb of the road, a favorite parking area for workers at NIH.
