Longboat Key (FL) Welcomes Fire Apparatus

Longboat Key’s $850,000 fire truck is in service, reports YourObserver.com.

The fire department celebrated with a ceremony on Monday, but have been using the truck on some occasion. The ceremony was attended by several town leaders and included Fire Chief Paul Dezzi and Deputy Fire Chief Chris Krajic.

The department had a yearlong process to the new custom-made new truck, which replaces the town’s 2003 model.
