Leamington Council (United Kingdom) Asked to Approve Fire Apparatus Purchase

Leamington Council is being asked to approve over $700,000 for a new fire truck.

“It’s the smaller ladder truck that we use as more of a water tower and to get onto the roofs on some of the commercial buildings. It’s good if we can’t get the bigger ladder truck in,” said Fire Chief Chuck Parsons.

Parsons says the price tag is a little higher than budgeted, but there’s enough money in a contingency reserve to cover the cost overrun.
