Lafayette (LA) Fire Apparatus Crashes into Utility Pole

A Lafayette fire truck was involved in a single vehicle accident Monday morning.

At 6:56 a.m., Lafayette firefighters were responding to a fire incident on Morning Glory Square in the Meadows. While in route, one of the fire trucks responding was involved in a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Moss Street and Sydney Martin Road. The fire truck struck a utility pole in the 3900 block of Moss Street. Two firefighters sustained minor injuries.
