Monrovia firefighters are getting a new KME ladder truck, reports Monrovia Weekly.

The truck is referred to as a tractor drawn aerial (TDA), where the rear wheels are controlled by a firefighter steering from the rear of the apparatus. This configuration provides maneuverability compared to the department’s current truck. Storage capacity is also increased which allows for more storage for tools.
