Knoxville (TN) Fire Apparatus Crash Injures Three Firefighters

Three Knoxville (TN) firefighters were sent to the hospital on Saturday afternoon after their fire truck crashed into a pole while heading to a fire scene.

K.F.D spokesperson D.J. Corcoran said a ladder truck from the Highland Avenue fire station was attempting to make a left turn, when the tires slid on the wet pavement, causing the truck to crash into a utility pole.

Corcoran said all three occupants were sent to UT Medical Center for observation but were released with minor injuries.
