Kentland (MD) Volunteer Fire Department Apparatus Catches Fire

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

While Kentland (MD) Volunteer Fire Department’s Tower 33 was recently on the air it had a fire in the motor compartment. Fortunately, no crew members were injured, and the fire was quickly extinguished, preventing further damage to the Tower.

The Tower has been taken to PGFD Apparatus Maintenance Division for inspection. Company 33 has been placed in a Reserve Truck, which is in service.
