Jaws of Life Extract Driver After Collision in Fort Myers FL

A man and two firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a car and fire truck collided in Fort Myers (FL).

Police state that three fire trucks were responding to a fire call at Publix. The trucks went through the intersection with lights and sirens activated.

One of the trucks tried to avoid the car, but they collided.

The two firefighters involved in the crash got out and helped get the driver out of the car using the Jaws of Life. The other trucks came back and assisted.

Police cited the driver of the car for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
