Japan Lawmakers Donate 20 Used Fire Trucks and Ambulances to Philippines

A group of Japanese lawmakers donated 20 used fire trucks and ambulances to the Philippines.

Kenji Kosaka, head of the Japan-Philippines parliamentary friendship group, turned over the vehicles in a meeting with Franklin Drilon, president of the Philippine Senate and head of the Philippines-Japan Parliamentarians Association.

The vehicles are intended primarily for use in the central Philippine towns ravaged by Typhoon Haiyan last year.
