Intelligent Camera Monitor System for Fire Apparatus

Shown above is the Brigade Buyer’s Guide.

At FDIC International 2015, Brigade Electronics will highlight its low-cost, intelligent camera monitor system for fire apparatus that provides the driver with a comprehensive 360-degree view around the vehicle, making Brigade the first company to offer the choice of two such systems. Visit the Brigade team at this year’s FDIC International show, booth #9719 in the Lucas Oil Stadium, 20-25 April.

Brigade’s range of Backeye®360 systems provides a bird’s-eye view in a single image, making it easier and quicker for the apparatus operator to assess possible hazards and take corrective action if required.

Backeye®360 systems use four ultra-wide-angle camera lenses mounted on the vehicle to capture all blind spots. Simultaneous digital images from the cameras are processed and ‘video stitched,’ resulting in a clear, real-time surround view delivered to the driver’s monitor in a single image.

Also on display will be Brigade’s patented bbs-tek® white sound® warning alarms. The sound from these alarms dissipates more easily outside of the hazard area than tonal alarms, making the bbs-tek models less annoying. At the same time, however, the source of the alarm and the danger is easier to locate in the hazard zone, making them safer.

Brigade Buyer’s Guides are available for a wide range of vehicle types, on-road and off-road.

Visit the Brigade stand at the FDIC show to win a free Backeye®360 Select system (including installation) worth over $2,000. Email for further information and learn how to enter.
