Inkster (MI) Receives $1M in Federal Funding for New Fire Apparatus

The City of Inkster made the following Facebook post recently:

“We are thrilled to announce that our Community Project Funding request for the City of Inkster Replacement of Fire Apparatus has been approved for FY2024! This much-needed funding will help ensure the safety and well-being of our community members.”

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib made the following Facebook post after the announcement:

“The City of Inkster is getting a new fire truck. We delivered the $1,000,000 to replace damaged equipment and enhance emergency services for Inkster and surrounding communities. Inkster plays a key role in providing aid for emergencies, so this is a crucial investment.”
