DPC Emergency Vehicles of Marydel, Del., has joined Rosenbauer America as the company’s dealer for Maryland and Delaware.
As a full-service dealership with 26 employees, including four salesmen, DPC serves a diverse customer base of career and volunteer fire departments, as well as law enforcement and EMS agencies.
It’s also an authorized Freightliner, Detroit Diesel, Hale and Allison parts and warranty center with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certified truck technicians. The company operates from a 15,000 square-foot facility on the Delmarva peninsula 15 miles west of Dover and roughly an hour east of Baltimore.
In addition to a fabrication capability for major body repairs, DPC offers truck pick-up and delivery service for repairs with commercial driver’s license (CDL) drivers to minimize fire department inconvenience.
Founded in 1990 by Rich Strauss, with day-to-day operations handled by his son, Rick, DPC is a licensed emergency vehicle dealer in Maryland and Delaware and a member of the National Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians (NAEVT), the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Safety Council. In addition to the Rosenbauer America apparatus line, DPC also carries LifeLine ambulances.
