Imperial EMS Receives New Ambulance

The Imperial Emergency Medical Services (EMS) has acquired two new ambulances, and retired two older ones.

A 2010 Ford Medtec, with about 200 miles, was received in May and replaced a 2005 Ford Medtec. It was purchased through Front Range Fire Apparatus and cost just less than $132,000.

Earlier this year, the EMS took possession of a 2011 Chevy Duramax, which replaced a 1998 Ford Medtec. Equipment from the older ambulances was transferred to the new ones.
