A Homewood fire truck was involved in head on collision, reports WBRC 6.
The fire department posted to Facebook, “Engine one was out checking hydrants this morning. They were hit head on by another vehicle. Fortunately crew members were out of the truck. Luckily no one was injured. This is a reminder to please slow down.”
The driver of the truck was taken away in handcuffs, but authorities say the arrest was not related to the accident.
