Gretna (Canada) Fire Department Getting New Fire Apparatus

The Gretna Fire Department’s 35-year-old fire truck is being replaced with a newer, bigger unit, reports Pembina Valley Online.

The unit was purchased second-hand in August and was taken across the border after following the necessary steps.

The new rescue pumper will replace the department’s current single truck. It boasts several new features that will add to the department’s capabilities, including a 1,000-gallon water tank and a 20-gallon foam tank.
