Frisco (TX) Pierce Quint Fire Apparatus

The photos in this collection were taken at the Frisco (TX) Fire Department’s new Station 8, which opened on February 4, 2015.

The fire apparatus‘s aluminum body and heavy-duty 75-foot aerial are mounted on a Pierce Velocity cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins ISX12 500-hp engine and an Allison Gen IV EVS 4000 transmission. It featues a Waterous 2,000-gpm CSU single-stage pump, 400-gallon UPF Poly tank, Husky 12 foam system, and 25-gallon foam cell. Photos courtesy of Lindsay Dye.
