Firefighters Prep for Pink Fire Truck Tour

On August 9th, Kansas firefighters are hosting the Pink Heals Tour. Firefighters from the Topeka Fire Department, Soldier Township Fire Department, Mission Township Fire Department and Topeka Fire Fighters Local 83 are participating.

The nationally recognized charity, whose mission is to provide a national movement for the support of women across the country, travels in pink fire trucks.

Cancer survivors are encouraged to sign the pink fire trucks as a traveling memorial that bear the signatures and sentiments of Survivors and loving tributes to those that have lost their lives to this terrible disease.

The Tour will be at the following locations:
