Fire Apparatus Accident Injures Two Pennsylvania Firefighters

A Black Rock Fire Company (PA) truck was involved in an accident early Thursday morning while responding to a crash.

Two firefighters were transported to Phoenixville Hospital, according to police.

Fire company officials said both injured firefighters were treated and released.

Upper Providence police said a tractor-trailer was heading west when the fire truck attempted to make a left.

The fire truck sustained heavy front-end damage, and fire company officials said the vehicle may be out of service for months.
