Finley Fire Equipment (OH) Expanding Facility

Finley Fire Equipment is adding an 110 feet by 85 feet addition to its current facility.

The construction is being done directly behind the existing structure that was completed in December of 2008.

According to Bailey Buchanan, Finley Fire Equipment marketing representative, the additional building is being constructed to accommodate the future growth of the company.

The new structure will be able to handle 10 fire trucks, two end-to-end, in each of its five bays. The ceiling must be high because Finley Fire Equipment works on big machines like ladder trucks. Primarily, for now, the new building will most likely be for used for storage while the company gradually grows into it.

“Finley Fire Equipment employs over 70 people in three states, including Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. Seventy-five percent of the employees live and work in Ohio. The company sells fire trucks, fire equipment, custom-built brush fire rigs, and ambulances. These products are used in the fire, EMS, law enforcement, safety, and industrial lines,” Buchanan said.
