WYOMING, MI—The Fallen Leaf Lake Fire Department has taken delivery of an all-new HME Model 18-Type 1 fire apparatus, mounted on an 1871-SFO custom chassis with single frame rails and seating for five.

It’s powered by a Cummins ISL9 370-hp diesel engine and equipped with a Hale Q-Flo Plus 1,250-gpm midship pump.

The rescue-pumper offers a 45-dgree cramp angle, Bendix four-wheel ABS brake system, Allison 3000EVS automatic transmission, rear wall gear rack, Avcomm SC800 intercom system, heated and remote controlled moto-mirror with lower convex, cab tilt road interlock, center hose well, HME Hydra Technology™, pump panel LED lighting, two crosslay beds, 200-foot Hannay booster reel, Darley 1-1/2AGE 150-GPM portable diesel engine, Hale FoamLogix 2.1 system with a 20-gallon class A internal foam tank, 850-gallon water T-Tank, 117 cubic feet of compartment space, 56-inch hosebed height, adjustable hosebed dividers, roll-up doors, four SCBA tubes, Unity floodlight, two Worden wheel chocks, 42,740# GVWR, three-inch deck gun riser, thru-the-tank ladder storage, adjustable shelves, pull-out trays, and a PowerArc LED warning light system.
