Exeter and Dover (NH) Use Spray Guns on EMS Fire Apparatus

Dover and Exeter fire departments are using a sanitizing instrument, known as an electrostatic sprayer, reports SeaCoastOnline.com.

Exeter Assistant Fire Chief Justin Pizon said the sprayer emits cleaning solution that has been electrically charged so it will bond to all surfaces inside the back of an ambulance for a thorough and rapid deep clean.

Exeter followed Dover Fire and Rescue’s lead for use of the electrostatic sprayer because they have owned two sprayers for several years and already had procedures in place.
