E-ONE Awarded 14-Truck Defense Logistics Agency Contract

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded E-ONE with two new orders, totaling 14 trucks, on behalf of the United States Air Force and the United States Navy. These two new awards come on the heels of two recent orders for six trucks.

Valued at more than $7.4 million, the orders call for nine HP75 aerial ladders for the U.S. Air Force and five Titan Force 6×6 Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles for the U.S. Navy.
Product features include:
  • Five 3000 gallon ARFF 6×6 units, each featuring a low attack bumper turret, electric ladder racks, and Crew Guard™, E-ONE’s occupant detection system
  • Nine HP 75 aluminum aerial ladders on E-ONE Typhoon® custom chassis, the strongest aerial and custom cab paring in the industry
The new units will be placed into service at military bases both domestically and abroad during 2012.
