Duluth now has a new fire truck that should drastically improve their response time, reports WDIO ABC.

The truck replaces the department’s old tower one truck which is 25 years old and fire officials say is no longer reliable. The new tower one can shoot 2000 gallons a minute, thousands of feet in distance from it’s 100 foot long aerial ladder. On the scene of a fire, it can be set up for use in about thirty seconds because of new technology. So far, it’s the only truck of it’s kind in service anywhere in Minnesota.
