Driver Hurt as Philadelphia Fire Appratus and SUV Collide

A fire truck and sport utility vehicle collided along a Philadelphia street Monday morning leaving a person hurt.

The crash just before 5 a.m. at 69th Avenue and Old York Road in West Oak Lane left heavy damage to the front of the SUV.

No firefighters suffered injured, said the fire department.

Firefighters didn’t immediately reveal the extent of injuries to the driver of the Dodge Durango.

The cause of the crash, which happened as some rain fell, wasn’t clear.
