WYOMING, MI—The Dayton (OR) Fire Districtis taking delivery of a 2014 HME PackRat™, which is mounted on a Ford F-550 XL four-door 4×4 chassis and is powered by a 6.7-liter OHV V8 Powerstroke diesel engine.

The mini rescue includes a stainless steel rescue body; easy maintenance and a long, corrosion-free life; 416-cubic feet of storage capacity; easy-access storage solutions (pull-through shelving, adjustable trays, Gore-Tite roll-up doors, and transverse shelving); an ambulance prep package; six-speed automatic transmission; 4×2 driving options; electronic AM/FM/CD radio with clock and speakers; electric telescopic trailer tow mirrors (heated); tow hooks; Whelen light bar; and an 8.0-KW Smart Power hydraulic generator.
