A local firefighter has restored a 1940/41 fire truck that has been a staple in local parades, reports Crowsnest Pass Herald.
The truck was purchased in 1940 for $1,018. The truck was in service until around the mid-1950’s.
It took nearly two years to find the parts for the truck. The firefighter who is a mechanic by trade enjoyed working on the project.
