Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, in conjunction with United Professional Firefighters of Contra Costa County, Local 1230, is launching Project Pink Wheels, reports East County Today.
The fire engine was designed to show support for all those in the community touched by cancer. Survivors or family members of past cancer fighters will be able to add names to the engine.
