Columbus (GA) Gets New Rescue Fire Apparatus

The Columbus Fire Department has a new rescue fire truck, reports Columbus Journal.

The truck was built by Marion Body Works of Marion. The truck will carry extrication equipment and a wide variety of other rescue equipment, including having an air filling station to fill air bottles at fires. It will carry supplies to handle hazardous material spills.

The truck replaces the current rescue truck that was built in 1991.
