Collision Between Raleigh (NC) Fire Apparatus and Car Injures Women and Children

A woman and three children were hospitalized after a car collided with a Raleigh fire truck.

Angela Peebles, 30; Lamaiyah Peebles, 5; Aniyah McCullough, 3; and Ayden Peebles, 1, were transported to WakeMed. None were believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries, Raleigh police said.

No firefighters were injured.

The fire truck was crossing Glenwood Avenue on Pleasant Valley Drive when it was hit by the Mazda sedan, police said. The fire truck had its lights and sirens on before the collision, witnesses said.
