Cole County (MO) Fire Protection District Dedicates New Apparatus to Former Member

The Cole County (MO) Fire Protection District (CCFPD) has received a new 3,000-gallon tanker that will honor longtime CCFPD firefighter and assistant chief Robbie Hammann, who died in December 2020, reports News Tribune.

The Danko Emergency Equipment manufactured fire truck will replace a 1980s piece of equipment. The tanker will enhance the ability to deliver much needed water to rural areas with no fire hydrants.

As funds become available, the district will continue to replace trucks that are more than 10 years old.
