Cohoes (NY) Fire Apparatus Stuck in Sink Hole Responding to Call

The rear end of Cohoes Fire Department Ladder No. 1, while responding to an EMS call, got stuck in the sink hole that was estimated at 10 feet deep.

A heavy wrecker from T&T Towing was called to the scene to lift the rear end of the ladder truck out of the hole. Fahd said the truck would be taken out of service until it could be inspected on Monday. No injuries were reported in the incident.
