Cohasset City Council MN Approves Fire Apparatus Bid Specs

The Cohasset City Council (MN) unanimously approved the bid specifications for a new fire truck for the Cohasset Fire Department.

A committee spent a year looking for a new truck that could respond to medical calls as well as pull equipment such as the department’s Ice Angel and other rescue equipment. The new truck will replace an older first responder van.

The estimated cost of the new truck will be somewhere between $90,000 to $140,000, but the cost will be unknown until the bids are received. The bid approval allows the fire department to seek bids, it did not approve an actual purchase.
