The Cleveland Division of Fire added two new fire trucks to its fleet.
One of the trucks will replace the engine at Fire Station 10 on East 101st Street. The second truck will replace the engine at Fire Station 39 on Lorain Avenue.
The engine cost $380,000 each.
They were added as part of Mayor Frank Jackson’s effort to upgrade and improve the city’s safety response fleet.
“These new engines are a welcome addition to the fleet,” said Fire Chief Angelo Calvillo. “The new engines will ensure that the Division of Fire continues to provide the community with a dependable, safe, state-of-the-art response fleet that enhances community service and public safety for many years to come.”
