Cariboo (Canada) Regional District Puts Fire Apparatus for Sale

The Cariboo Regional District has put a 1976 Ford Fire Engine up for sale, reports My Cariboo Now.

The fire department writes in a Facebook post, “The unit is being sold by competitive bid with no warranty expressed or implied. Bids will be accepted until 4:30 Friday, October 16th, 2020, and can be submitted by mail or email. For more information or to arrange to view the unit please contact Larry Loveng, Manager of Procurement at 250-392-3351.”

The truck is the first that is being attempted to be sold. Also for consideration is a 1981 GMC and a bush fire truck, as well as pieces of fire equipment.
