Broken Arrow OK Rings-In New Fire Apparatus

The Broken Arrow Fire Department (OK) rang in the addition of a new fire truck.

The ceremony marked the arrival of the Spartan ERV Engine comes with new upgrades, including new technology.

“We actually have a tethered controller. The pump operator, still standing on the ground at the pump panel, can put the pump deck canon into action and control every aspect of that deck gun with that hand controller,” explained James Annas.

The 1,000-gallon pumper also has back-up cameras, a tighter turning radius, amongst other upgrades.
