Boston (MA) man Carlens Rigaud is facing multiple charges, including operating under the influence, after he crashed his vehicle into Ladder 1 in Natick around 1:50 p.m. yesterday, reports wcvb.com.

The crash happened on South Main Street, and witnesses say a vehicle driven by the 37-year-old Rigaud was traveling south at a high speed when it collided with the Natick Fire Department’s apparatus, which was traveling north.

The suspect’s vehicle continued after the collision and narrowly avoided Engine 1. Rigaud’s vehicle did hit another vehicle that was heading south before coming to a stop.

A Natick firefighter and the driver of the vehicle struck by Rigaud’s vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Rigaud was arrested and charged with OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, a marked lanes violation, and possession of a taser without an FID card.
