Bloomfield (NJ) Donates Fire Apparatus to Dominican Republic

The Bloomfield Fire Department has a new fire truck and will donate an older truck to the municipality in the Dominican Republic, reports patch.com.

Bloomfield Township purchased a 2019 E-One Typhoon E-Max Rescue Pumper engine.

With the arrival of the new engine, the BFD will also be donating one of its older trucks – a 2002 American LaFrance engine – to La Vega, a 20 square mile municipality in the Dominican Republic with 250,000 residents and more than 77,000 buildings to safeguard.
