Belle Fourche (SD) Fire Department Welcomes Fire Apparatus

Belle Fourche Volunteer Fire Department welcomed a fire truck that has been in the works for roughly two-and-one-half years, reports Black Hills Pioneer.

It replaces a truck that has served the fire department for 24 years. The new 69,000-pound truck sports a custom built Toyne body.

A wet down ceremony welcomed the new fire truck. The members of the fire department performed a push-in ceremony which dates back to the days before motorized fire apparatus.
