Belington (WV) Fire Apparatus Damaged in Accident

A ladder truck from Belington Volunteer Fire Department was heavily damaged when it was sideswiped, reports MetroNews.

The fire truck was heading to a firefighter’s funeral the Grafton area. Two firefighters were in the truck. The driver was more seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Fire Chief Phil Hart said that the accident is not expected to impact coverage for the county.
