Baltimore Resident Argues for Advertising on Fire Apparatus

In a letter to the Baltimore Sun, a reader wrote that she was appalled that Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was opposed to the idea of advertising on fire apparatus in Baltimore. She writes, “Why is it “not appropriate” for fire trucks to have advertisements but our stadium can be named after a bank and have ads all over the place? She needs to reconsider what is appropriate and what’s not. Let her come up with more money for the fire department and then maybe, just maybe she can dictate how they raise money!”
