RediMedic Ambulances on Duty at Community Life Support Systems

Medtec Ambulance Corporation, an Oshkosh Corporation [NYSE: OSK] company, has placed two RediMedic™ by Medtec™ ambulances into service at Community Life Support Systems, Inc., an emergency medical services company primarily serving the communities within Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.

RediMedicThe RediMedic by Medtec R146 includes features such as a recessed overhead grab-rail, angled and protected roll-up flooring, and ducted air conditioning to help make EMTs safer and more comfortable. The line also boasts sweep-out and drop-down compartments, set-back upper interior cabinets, a 10-switch front electrical panel, fire-grade ADP step-well, a sharps and waste compartment within the squad bench, and a host of other options.

The RediMedic by Medtec line features a robust inventory of stock vehicles, and a shorter than traditional lead-time for fleet purchases. The ambulance is available on Ford, GMC or Dodge platforms with a choice of either gas or diesel engines. The RediMedic line comes in the following models – R146, R152, R164, and R172.

Community Life Support Systems has established a reputation for providing the highest standard of care in Lackawanna County as well as in the parts of Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties that they serve.
