Colin Kerrigan has been promoted to Vice President of Operations for Horton Emergency Vehicles. Kerrigan joined Horton in 2010 as the Operations Excellence Manager and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2011.
Horton manufactures ambulances and rescue vehicles in Grove City, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. Horton has been the industry leader in innovation and quality since it began in 1968.

“Horton’s investment to transform the manufacturing and supporting processes in to a world class operation, through Colin’s leadership, has further enhanced the company’s focus on quality, increased production capacity and reduced delivery times,” said John Slawson, Horton President.

Prior to joining Horton, Kerrigan held positions with Toyota and AW, North Carolina, developing lean practices in manufacturing of automatic transmissions for domestic and export use. He also brings with him significant experience working with both Honda and International Trucks in his earlier career.

“The commitment from the employees at Horton has been truly inspiring,” Colin said. “From the newest team member to the veteran with more than 30 years service, the Horton team has completely changed the way they think about manufacturing to better serve our customers.”
